Hoy es una mujer sin educaci\u00f3n, divorciada y tratando de sobrevivir con sus dos hijos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La historia de Karima se presenta en una pel\u00edcula de cuatro minutos realizada con el apoyo de ONU Mujeres y presentada en el primer D\u00eda Internacional de la Ni\u00f1a (11 de octubre) en El Cairo &#8211; Egipto. Producida por &nbsp;Amal Abou El Rouss, una mujer rural de la aldea de Karima que es miembro electa de un comit\u00e9 local de mujeres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amal tiene educaci\u00f3n, pero tal como Karima ella tambi\u00e9n es divorciada y se convirti\u00f3 en el sost\u00e9n de su familia, que incluye a su madre, sus hermanas y a un hermano. Cre\u00f3 el gui\u00f3n y produjo la pel\u00edcula totalmente sola, y su hermano menor la ayud\u00f3 para la edici\u00f3n. El equipo de Al Masry Al Youm dio capacitaci\u00f3n y supervis\u00f3 la producci\u00f3n, sin influenciar su contenido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amal dice que eligi\u00f3 a Karima como protagonista de su primer documental para crear conciencia acerca de los matrimonios tempranos porque \u00e9stos tienen un profundo impacto sobre el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y la participaci\u00f3n en la vida econ\u00f3mica de las mujeres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esto se ha dado dentro del marco de un programa conjunto de la ONU llamado \u201cSalasel o \u201cCadenas de valor hort\u00edcola en el Alto Egipto\u201d a favor de los pobres, las mujeres de las municipalidades de la regi\u00f3n han sido electas por sus comunidades como miembros de los comit\u00e9s que representan las necesidades y las opiniones de las mujeres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Al Tod, la aldea de Karima, mediante un &nbsp;programa llamado \u201cSalasel\u201d, se encuentra adquiriendo conocimientos para aprender nuevas t\u00e9cnicas y habilidades empresariales,&nbsp; para comenzar su propia peque\u00f1a empresa de cr\u00eda de gallinas y patos.
