En el mejor de los casos puede reciclarse, pero no en todo el mundo los sistemas de recolecci\u00f3n son tan buenos como para reunir la mayor cantidad de PET consumido para su reutilizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por eso, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os surgieron alternativas que van desde envases de origen vegetal, hasta prendas de vestir que reutilizan el material.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, la propuesta m\u00e1s revolucionaria lleg\u00f3 recientemente de la mano de estudiantes de dise\u00f1o de Londres. Se trata de Ooho, un envase biodegradable y comestible que se puede crear en el hogar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inspirados en t\u00e9cnicas de gastronom\u00eda molecular, el espa\u00f1ol Rodrigo Garc\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez y los franceses&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.guillaumecouche.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guillaume Couche<\/a>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pierrepaslier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pierre Paslier<\/a>&nbsp;dise\u00f1aron esta especie de \u2018bolsa\u2019&nbsp;hecha a base de algas pardas y cloruro&nbsp;c\u00e1lcico. Las dos capas de membrana se consiguen a trav\u00e9s de un proceso culinario&nbsp;llamado esferificaci\u00f3n, por el cual los alimentos se encapsulan con&nbsp;texturas de gelatina. Antes de envasarla,&nbsp;el agua debe congelarse&nbsp;para evitar que se mezcle con los otros ingredientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El resultado es un&nbsp;envase sencillo,&nbsp;resistente, higi\u00e9nico y biodegradable, que propone reemplazar a las cl\u00e1sicas botellas de pl\u00e1stico. Otra caracter\u00edstica es su bajo costo, dado que producir cada \u2018bolsa\u2019 demanda un par de centavos (a diferencia del agua embotellada, donde lo m\u00e1s caro resulta el PET). De acuerdo a sus creadores, los consumidores m\u00e1s habilidosos pueden crearlas por su propia cuenta y hasta probar nuevas recetas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque&nbsp;Ooho&nbsp;no se caracterice por ser una delicia, se puede comer sin ning\u00fan inconveniente. Si la idea es desecharla, s\u00f3lo basta con perforar la membrana y extraer el l\u00edquido. Seg\u00fan analizan los dise\u00f1adores, esto es especialmente \u00fatil para los deportistas, que en muchos casos utilizan&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amcor.com\/products_services\/amcor_aquaflexcan_water_packaging.html\" target=\"_blank\">agua en bolsa<\/a>&nbsp;para hidratarse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta alternativa libre de residuos&nbsp;gan\u00f3 el Premio de Dise\u00f1o Luxus 2014&nbsp;y estar\u00e1 presente en la pr\u00f3xima&nbsp;edici\u00f3n de la&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.milandesignagenda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Milan Design Week<\/a>.
